If you are surprised by this, then you’re not the only one. This information is straight from Eurogamer and the EA financial report. I have come across many “boycott EA” threads in my time and I am starting to think that these boycotts are nothing more than hate threads written by a poster, or they have done little to affect the PS3’s impact on EA’s income.
EA has recently made promises to ensure that the PS3 version of games will be on par with the respective 360 releases. These promises were made prior to the release of the financials for this ongoing year. Hopefully this will not only cause EA to stand by these promises, but will show other developers that the PS3 has a viable consumer base that is still growing.
