Though it is freezing cold on the east coast, the Blu-Ray releases are certainly heating up. The headliner for the week is King Kong. This title was one of HD-DVD’s champions during the good old format war of yore. Now that it has made it over the Blu format, we can appreciate features such as the extended edition and theatrical release of the title. Who can’t say that they are most pleased with that? Max Payne and Saw V are both being released this week as well. Max Payne is based off of the video game series of course and Saw V is the latest release in the long running Saw series. Can you believe that there is going to be a Saw VI? They just will not stop with this series.
