When Lost Planet 2 made it’s appearance at the Sony’s E3 2009 press conference, it was already clear that the game was not a 360 exclusive. However, a previously held notion about the game’s release schedule proved to be false.
Though originally believed to be a timed-exclusive for the 360, Capcom has confirmed that Lost Planet 2 is scheduled to release simultaneously on PS3 and Xbox 360 “day and date” in Europe and the US, with the Japanese version possibly coming out a bit sooner. Lost Planet 2 was slated to hit in 2010, but Chris Kramer from Capcom USA stated that the game could possibly hit this holiday season.
