Ben Heck, the hardware modifying extraordinaire, originally conceived the one-and-only ‘PS3 Laptop‘ back in 2008. However, since then, the original PlayStation 3 slimmed its size and as such the PS3 Laptop needed one “Heck” of a redesign to keep up with the program.

According to the modification aficionado, the design held the possibility of being shelled in a smaller form-factor but was not because the attached 17″ screen was a must for the laptop.
