Ubisoft is apparently hard at work on the next Assassin’s Creed title already. They recently stated that it will feature none other than Ezio as the protagonist again in the upcoming title. Full details follow.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had this to say:
We have a new Assassin’s Creed that we expect will be a very high quality product that as well as an offline component will have a multiplayer component.
It is the same studios because it’s not only one studio creating the game, but an association of studios and they are working together to make it happen.
Another Ubisoft rep stated:
The game will take place with the same hero, which is Ezio, and will follow-up the story that took place in Assassin’s Creed 2.
If all this is true then the game is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, which is who was behind Assassin’s Creed II. No word as of yet if this is in fact Assassin’s Creed III or some sort of spin-off of Assassin’s Creed II. Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for the details.
