Split/Second: Velocity is getting closer to its May 18th release date. Some of you may have seen a bit of it at the recent PAX East event in Boston, MA. For those who didn’t, Disney Interactive has just released this very destructive trailer. The video below takes you a downtown area of the fictional world the game takes place in and aims to show everyone just what chaos is all about.

The game is being developed by Black Rock Studio, the group behind Pure and is being published by Disney Interactive. So any of you think you have what it takes to navigate a car through this mess? Hope to see plenty of you at the starting line come May 18th.
