Epic Games, the company behind the wildly-successful Unreal Engine 3 physics engine, has announced the opening of its newest studio. Opening in Japan, the location of the new studio allows a greater appreciation for the Asian market.
With the newest office, Epic Games now has operations in Cary, North Carolina; Provo, Utah; Warsaw, Poland; Seoul, Korea; Shanghai, China and now Tokyo, Japan. An event highlighting the opening is set for today. Speakers include Tim Sweeney, CEO and founder of Epic Games, and Jay Wilbur, vice president of Epic Games. Design director Cliff Bleszinski will also make an appearance, with an audio message.
