David Jaffe’s Twisted Metal announcement was one of the big surprises of Sony’s E3 2010 Press Conference. After years of rumors and Jaffe personally denying the existence of the title, it was finally unveiled in one of the most memorable ways imaginable. Although the game has a scheduled 2011 release date, many have been craving new information which according to recent information will be sooner rather than later.
As usual, David Jaffe has been Tweeting his heart out as he shares his thoughts on unveiling the upcoming exclusive Twisted Metal and also responding to fan questions. After being asked by a fan about whether or not the upcoming PS3 title will appear at Comic Con this month, Jaffe posted the following:
I have not heard if we’ll be at GamesCon or not. Would love to! I know we’ll have a panel at comic con & MAY be playable at PAX. Not sure tho.
Jaffe then added the following:
Next official update- I think- is Comic Con in a few weeks. As soon as our panel is locked I’ll let ya’ll know panel details.
Twisted Metal was an absolute thrill to play at E3, and any additional news is welcomed. Comic Con is only weeks away and will last from July 22nd to July 25th so some new exciting information as well as gameplay should be revealed. Some new details regarding the single-player campaign and story will be revealed at the upcoming event.
