Ubisoft has declared via their latest Q1 figures that their third installment of their renowned franchise will have a clear run with no direct competition this Christmas.
CEO Yves Guillemot labeled Assassin’s Creed as a “unique franchise in the video game industry”. Yves expressed some of his thoughts regarding the next installment of the hit franchise;
We are coming back with a very strong single-player experience, both on the storyline and on the gameplay front. We are also very encouraged by the great feedback we got regarding the multiplayer component. The game won multiple awards, both for its single-player and multiplayer experiences – in particular the official E3 Award for best online multiplayer game.
Yves further implied:
Assassin’s Creed is a unique franchise in the industry and there is no true comparable in front of it at Christmas,
With Driver: San Francisco getting sidetracked and with Guillemots last comment, it bolsters any fans confidence of getting their hands on at least one of Ubisofts prominent games this year. Will you be picking up Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood this November? Let us know in the comment section below!
