European PSN users looking to get in some extra online gaming time this coming Monday bank holiday are sadly out of luck. The PlayStation Network will sadly be down for maintenance a full 13 hours.
According to Bambaroo over on the Official EU PlayStation Forums the PSN will be down from 8am-9pm on Monday August 30th for scheduled maintenance. Here is the full forums post:

On Monday 30th August PlayStation Network will be undergoing maintenance. This is scheduled to happen between 8am [BST] and 9pm [BST].
During this maintenance period you will be unable to access the PlayStation Store or Account Management.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
