Gearbox Software’s Borderlands has done phenomenally well since its release, so, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the RPG first-person shooter will be receiving a GOTY edition.
The Game of The Year edition will include three previously released DLC packs as well as a code for the upcoming Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution DLC which is set to be released in September. The three previous downloadable content pack for the game are:
- The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned
- Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot
- The Secret Armory of General Knoxx
Gearbox has also confirmed that it’ll be including a “full and comprehensive” map of the Borderlands territories. The GOTY edition will be released on October 12th, 2010 for $59.99 on consoles. A European price tag has yet to be confirmed.
