Rumors have been floating around about the PSP2 for what seems like forever now, dating back even before the PSPgo was unveiled. THQ is hoping that whenever Sony does bring the new hardware to the market, that they really bring their ‘A’ game. What a coincidence: that’s exactly what we are hoping for with the PSP2.
In an interview with IndustryGamers, THQ’s Danny Bilson had this to say about it.
“I hope that they invigorate their handheld platform because it will just give us another place to deliver our games.
They do have a lot of great engineers and great designers. When they do announce it, I hope that it’s something that works for everybody, but I really can’t comment on it because they haven’t.”
It is very true that Sony could use a shot in the portable arm, especially after the sales disaster that the PSPgo has been. Let us know what you would like to see in the PSP2 besides of course a 2nd analog stick.
