The new 007 game from Activision, James Bond: Blood Stone, is set to release in just over a week on November 2nd. Looking forward to it? Looks like there won’t be any way to dabble in the MI6 Agency until then.
In an interview with VG247 Bizzare Creations confirmed that there will be no demo for their new 007 video game. The game will be released the exact same day as the Goldeneye remake set for the Wii and DS. Could this be Activision’s way of enforcing the time-tested rule of “survival of the fittest?” Depending on which game gets a better aggregate score and better sales numbers, Bizzare Creations or Eurocom may be the developing the next James Bond game. Only time will tell.
Regardless of that, it’s interesting that no demo will be released. Was it a time and resource issue, or is Activision worried about bad press coming before the release? No one will know. Stay tuned for PlayStation LifeStyle’s review of the game, since there won’t be a demo for you to decide for yourself if the game is worth your money.
