If you’re one of the few who were hoping to purchase the initially exclusive DLC available in the Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition, well… we’re sorry to say that we have some bad news for you.
Confirmed yesterday via a comment on the Official US PlayStation Blog, Sony Senior Social Media Specialist (say that five times fast) Sid Shuman has revealed that the DLC contained in the Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition will remain exclusive to those who purchase it.
“…just confirmed internally that the DLC cars will be exclusive forevermore to the C.E.”
Well, this could actually be a good thing, knowing that Sony isn’t planning on profiting while shortchanging those who actually threw down the $99.99 to purchase the collector’s edition. Now you really can rest in the fact the once you own these rare cars, no one else outside the collector’s circle can!
