Netflix continues to fulfill the requests of users in the United States and Canada who typically ask for one thing: more content. Netflix has reached an agreement with Disney-ABC that will bring more content to it’s various streaming endpoints—notably the PS3.
According to the press release, the deal adds a wide range of content including recent ABC favorites such as Lost and Ugly Betty. In addition, Disney series such as The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Hannah Montana are being added to the catalog as well. It’s worth mentioning that newly-acquired content “will be no earlier than 15 days after initial telecast” according to Netflix, which should keep the Hulu, and On Demand users of the world happy.
While there may not be a plethora of geekdom related content, Netflix has improved its library with something for everyone, thereby ensuring that the PS3 remains the center of the digital home.
