With a new Zak Snyder/Christopher Nolan Superman Film coming in 2012, the end of Smallville, and the latest DC Hardback Superman: Earth One, the favorite son of Metropolis is all over current pop-culture. With DC Universe Online launching in a few days, Sony Online Entertainment has put the spotlight on the Man of Steel.
SOE has provided us with screenshots that put Superman at center stage. Showcasing everything from his super-strength, to heat-vision to super-breath, SOE’s images give anyone who hasn’t played the beta a glimpse of just how true to comics the final render of Superman is. In addition to the images, SOE also included Jim Lee concept art, early target models, and a gorgeous desktop wallpaper of the earth under the watchful of its greatest protector.
