For the first time in over a month Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is not the number one selling game in Japan. The game to knock it off is another PSP title, Another Century’s Episode Portable, which was developed by From Software and published by Namco Bandai.
The margin was very slim with Another Century beating out the Monster Hunter by around 2,000 units. We are sure Sony does not mind as a PSP game has been bested by another on the same hardware, which should be driving up even more sales of the handled console. Arcana Hearts 3 also saw a top 10 debut at the 6th spot with 17,219 sold. Other notables in the top 10 were AKB 1/48 Fall In Love With An Idol (PSP) and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 (PS3).
