With Dead Space 2 releasing today, you’ve probably had your fill of the franchise for the day. But that still hasn’t stopped EA from making their latest announcement – more Dead Space.
EA has announced the first set of DLC for Dead Space 2 on PS3 and 360, titled Dead Space 2: Severed. Dead Space 2: Severed continues the story of Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock, who starred in the formally Wii exclusive, Dead Space: Extraction. You’ll be taking the role as Gabe Weller, who is a security guard on the Sprawl, as he fights off hordes of necromorphs, in an attempt to get himself, as well as Lexine, to safety. Being presented in two standalone chapters, the story will run parallel to Isaac Clarke’s story in Dead Space 2.
No release date has been given yet for Dead Space 2: Severed, but stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle as we wait to hear of any new information.
