The PlayStation Move has been out for more than just a couple of months now, and despite the controller being perfectly suited for a chipping away at the greens, no developer has completely taken advantage of the potential yet. John Daly’s ProStroke Golf had great controls, but had a handful of crippling presentational flaws that kept it from being what it could have. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 was a great game, but the Move patch added unimpressive motion controls. With that said, EA isn’t messing around this year, and plans to take the bull by the horns as far as Move is concerned.
Those who were disappointed with the Move implementation in Tiger Woods 11 will be glad to hear that EA is making a serious effort this time around. EA designer Mike DeVault shared the following with Eurogamer:
“We have full Sony Move support this year.”
He then elaborated:
“This year we’ve had a full cycle to dedicate to the Move. We’ve been able to smooth out a lot of the kinks we had from last year and then also add some functionality.”
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 is now only two months away from release, and with Sorcery aimed to release on the same week, we may have a couple of solid Move titles on the horizon.
