The sequel to the critically acclaimed Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was released by Capcom this past February and is considered by many as one of the best fighters on the PlayStation 3. With a roster of over 35 characters, players have plenty to work with already. But that hasn’t stopped Capcom from stating that there will be downloadable content for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Though the DLC that was scheduled for release tomorrow in Japan has been delayed.
According to Japanese website Adriasang, Capcom announced via their website that the DLC will be delayed until further notice in Japan due to the earthquake and tsunami that hit the nation. The DLC scheduled was 2 downloadable characters that would be added to the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster, the two characters include Jill Valentine of Capcom fame, and Shuma-Gorath of Marvel fame. Both characters were supposedly going to cost $5 a piece. There is no word as to whether or not it is going to be delayed in other countries as well, be sure to stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for future updates on the topic.
