Starhawk To Receive Android App, Community Focused Features

Starhawk is real, it’s official and it’s a big change from the smash hit Warhawk, bringing a new look and a new RTS focus. But one thing that will stay the same – and that was at the core of Warhawk‘s success – is that the title will be heavily focused on an engaged and happy community.

It has now been revealed that LightBox Interactive will be taking this community focus to the next level with an Android app that will help keep players in touch. Other mobile platforms and a possible release date were not mentioned. Cross-server voice chat, automated tournaments and an in-game calendar will also be implemented to make the game as community friendly as possible.

With constant updates and events, Dylan Jobe and his team set the bar for how to interact with the community in Warhawk, that arguably still hasn’t been matched.

Starhawk will be at this year’s E3, what would you like to hear about the game at the show? Let us know in the comments below.
