No More Heroes Wields its Beam Katana this August

Just the other day, we gave you new screenshots for No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise and today Konami has announced that the game will be releasing in North America on August 16th. Europe, however, is getting things a bit earlier with this game, as it’s out today.

No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise is a remake of the 2008 game for the Nintendo Wii but sports HD graphics, PlayStation Move support, additional missions, bosses, re-playable boss fights and so much more. In the game you will play as Travis Touchdown, a man who is battling to eliminate some of the world’s most deadly assassins to improve his 11th ranked assassin title.

So far things are looking good for the PlayStation 3 version with a respectable score of 76 on Metacritic from 6 reviews. It also helps that the game will be releasing as a budget title, coming in at a very comfortable $39.99 (but full priced in Europe).

Let us know in the comments if you plan on picking up this title.
