PSN Maintenance Scheduled for Tomorrow Morning

That’s right, it’s maintenance time again for the PSN. But don’t worry, the PSN should only be down for three hours at the most.

The PSN maintenance is scheduled to start at 5AM BST on Wednesday June 15th. The Official PlayStation site describes the maintenance as follows:

  • For a brief period during the maintenance window, users will be unable to sign into the PlayStation Network.
  • Some users signed into the PlayStation Network may find they are automatically signed out.
  • Anyone unable to sign back in immediately should be advised to wait for 10 minutes and then try the sign in process again.

There should be no further issues affecting users beyond this.

This notice was posted on PlayStation’s Europe site and it doesn’t say if the maintenance will effect just the European servers or be worldwide. The maintenance shouldn’t take any longer than three hours. Last time the PSN went down for maintenance, it was offline for over a month, but don’t fret, that shouldn’t happen this time.
