The BloodRayne series has been in existence since 2002, revolving around the half-vampire Rayne. The first title took place during the 1930’s, and the sequel during the 21st century. Both games were released on the PlayStation 2, and have quite a fanbase behind them. The upcoming PlayStation Network downloadable title BloodRayne: Betrayal was announced not too long ago, and now the game finally has a release date.
On the official Facebook page of BloodRayne: Betrayal there was a post with the following message:
Here’s some news for my loyal following. Bloodrayne: Betrayal will be on PSN on August 30th and on XBLA on August 31st. It will be bloody.
It was also stated that there could be a reveal of gameplay of the upcoming title as well after the release date post:

Oh, and 1000 and there’s a free game code given to a random follower. Not enough motivation? If you don’t I’ll cut you and have you for supper 😉
