Publisher Ghostlight announced today that it will be bringing the PAL region a popular Japanese RPG with Persona 2: Innocent Sin. The company says that a special edition package should be available by the end of the year.
Having arrived in Japan this past April to all kinds of success, Atlus USA later announced that the game will be coming to North America on September 20th. Prior to Atlus USA’s announcement, Persona 2: Innocent Sin had not yet been made available in English. The game originally came in two parts when it was released on the Sony PlayStation, in the form of Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. North America got the latter, but not the former, unbeknownst to many gamers. Hardcore fans, however, have wanted something like this for over a decade.
No release date has been specified for the PAL release of Innocent Sin, but we’ll definitely keep you posted.
