SCEA’s senior VP of publisher relations Rob Dyer recently stated that Microsoft was protecting an inferior technology, in regards to their strict publishing guidelines for multiplatform games. Now, DFC Intelligence analyst David Cole has has backed up those claims, saying that he believes Microsoft is concerned about the technical advantage that the PS3 has over the Xbox 360’s aging hardware.
