Ten years ago, Naughty Dog – now best known for the Uncharted series – released the first title in the Jak & Daxter series, Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. The two sequels to the game would undergo a darker turn and use weapons when compared to the original, but the quality platforming action remained. All three titles, regardless, were successes. How does Sony celebrate the success of such a series? By sending a giant Precursor Orb!
Today, we received a giant (not to mention quite heavy) Precursor Orb with a mount/base and Jak & Daxter logo to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Naughty Dog’s man/ottsel duo. For those not familiar with the series, Precursor Orbs were collectible items.
Thanks to Naughty Dog and Sony for sending both Anthony and I an egg. We can only hope that Jak & Daxter will eventually get another home console installment, along with the HD remaster.
