THQ announced today that the SpikeTV Video Game Awards will see the exclusive world premiere of a teaser trailer for Darksiders II. The teaser trailer will be focused around the horseman known as DEATH.
In the game, players will control DEATH, a member of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. DEATH will travel through light and dark realms as he tries to find redemption for his brother, WAR, who had been blamed for the start of the Apocalypse in the original Darksiders title. DEATH’s story, described as “weaving,” runs parallel to that of the story of the original Darksiders.

We are really looking forward to allowing players to take on the role of the ultimate anti-hero and this trailer gives them a real taste of what it will be like playing DEATH.
Darksiders II is currently in development for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U. The game is currently scheduled release in Summer 2012 for existing platforms and is planned to be a Wii U launch title.
