The three classic action titles that earned Dante the recognition of gamers everywhere — Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition — are coming next year to consoles in HD. Today, Capcom has revealed the release date for the collection of titles in the classic action franchise.
Devil May Cry HD Collection will be made available to gamers on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, on both PS3 and Xbox 360, for $39.99. All three games have upgraded HD visuals, have bonus content, and Achievement and Trophy support. The Devil May Cry HD Collection‘s release will mark the first time that these titles have been available for consoles outside of their original PS2 releases.
Devil May Cry introduced Dante and set the standard for action gaming. Devil May Cry 2 added a playable character, Lucia, in addition to Dante. Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition featured new balance for some difficulty modes (compared to the original DMC3 release) and the addition of Vergil as a playable character.
If there are any updates on Devil May Cry HD Collection, PSLS will keep you posted.
