The PlayStation Vita has been out in Japan for a few days now, and while the hardware has impressed without boundary, the software launch line-up is what’s really worth bragging about. Among over a dozen launch titles two are expected to outsell the others, according to Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment and President of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida.
Despite series such as WipEout and Ridge Racer meeting the PlayStation Vita at launch, Yoshida told the PS Blog which two titles were leading the pack:
We collect data from retailers taking pre-orders and we know that Everybody’s Golf is the most popular and UNCHARTED: Golden Abyss is number two. I’m very proud that they are both Worldwide Studios titles.
Everybody’s Golf is also known as Hot Shots Golf in the States, and has meshed two things that you’d think would never go together: cutesy presentation and Golf.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss is also expected to sell strong, and for a good reason. We awarded the game a 10/10 in our review, which you can check out in our review section.
