Update:
The patch is now live in the US.
Original story:
The Bethesda Blog has announced this morning that the 1.4 patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available for the Xbox 360 users in all territories and PS3 users in the European territories. US users will have to wait until “later today” before the patch is made available.
Bethesda also states that “strange in-game behavior” is normal post-patch as “…this is a normal function of the script backlog temporarily correcting itself.” We’ll keep an eye on the original blog post and be sure to update you all when the patch is available for US users.
The Skyrim 1.4 patch contains a lengthy list of fixes including several performance and memory enhancements specifically for the PS3 version of the game. Bethesda stated on Monday that the patch had been submitted for console certification after a lengthy beta testing phase concluded.
To our European users, has the patch fixed some of the issues that you’ve been having or is the difference negligible? To our US users, are you excited for the patch or does this come too little, too late?
