A new costume pack DLC is now available for LittleBigPlanet 2, and next month will see the release of a costume for the game themed after a PSN hit.
On the PS Blog, SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor revealed that a costume pack for LittleBigPlanet 2, The Deep Sea Adventures Costume Pack, is out now and costs $2.99. The Media Molecule website also says that the pack includes stickers as well as costumes, which are shown in one of the images in the Media Gallery below.
The contents of the pack are as follows:
- Deep Sea Diver Helmet, Deep Sea Diver Suit, Deep Sea Diver Gloves, Deep Sea Diver Boots
- Edible Crab Shell, Edible Crab Torso, Edible Crab Claws, Edible Crab Skin
- Anglerfish Head, Anglerfish Jaw
- Pufferfish Head, Pufferfish Skin
Next month, a special costume is coming to LBP2: a costume from thatgamecompany’s most recent PSN title, Journey. No pricing details were revealed.
Also, in the comments section, a very brief mention was made of LittleBigPlanet for PS Vita. A user had asked when the game was going to be released, to which Valledor replied:
Sorry to keep you hanging – bear with us a bit longer. We’ll have some LBP (Vita) news for you soon enough. Promise.
Finally, Valledor mentioned that LBP2 won two BAFTAs last week in the categories of Innovation in Games and Best Family Game. PSLS would like to congratulate everyone at Media Molecule on their achievement.
