Persona 4 Arena is going to have quite a lengthy story mode.
Ordinarily, fighting games have quite a short story mode, right? Well, that won’t be the case for Persona 4 Arena, reports Andriasang (via the Persona 4 Arena Official Blog). Game Director Kazuhisa Wada has announced that the estimated play time for the story mode in the game’s home console version is 30-40 hours.
Wada compared the story mode to BlazBlue (which was also developed by Arena developer Arc System Works) in that the story mode won’t just be a “bonus-style” feature. He noted that the story elements for the game come from the Persona team and are fully voiced.
