Amazon France may have revealed a new branding status for PS3 software, the “Essential Collection.”
Examiner.com reports that, according to Amazon France listings, a number of existing PS3 titles will be re-released under the branding of “Essential Collection.” Quite a few high profile games have qualified for the branding, including the likes of inFAMOUS, Heavy Rain, and more. No prices are available for any of the games, but the report does note that Sony recently dropped the price of “PSP Essentials” titles to £9.99, so this may or may not be a discounted line of games similar to “Greatest Hits” status.
