The most recently announced installment of Brothers in Arms has been delayed and is “evolving,” according to Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford.
CVG reports that Randy Pitchford said the following about Brothers in Arms: Furious 4:
The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they’ll see, and it’s still evolving. One of the reasons why we’re not talking about it now is that it’s evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it.
Pitchford also said that while he looks forward to being able to discuss the game “soon,” he won’t be talking about the game prior to the release of the highly anticipated Borderlands 2. He did say it was possible that he might “come around” to talk about Furious 4 between the releases of Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines, though.
The report also notes that Pitchford confirmed that Furious 4 will not meet the 2012 release date that had been scheduled for the game.
