Naughty Dog has said that more DLC is coming for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. They also discussed the possibility of the game’s multiplayer receiving a “Classic Mode.”
On the PlayStation Community Forums, Naughty Dog has said that the future DLC for Uncharted 3 is not map packs, that it’s “reasonably priced,” and that it will grant “some very cool things” that customize player characters. However, no discount will exist for the DLC, as the Fortune Hunters’ Club program is over. (Naughty Dog had mentioned the arrival of future DLC a few months ago.) No further details were mentioned about the DLC.
The Uncharted developers also said that Golden Abyss villain Guerro will be eventually be unlocked for the game. He will be made available via the release of unspecified DLC — he’s one of the unlocks for it.
Finally, Naughty Dog commented on the fan requests for a “Classic Mode,” which would be essentially an offering of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves‘ style of multiplayer in Uncharted 3. They said:
There are intentions of changing Hardcore mode into a gametype similar to Uncharted 2. Once 1.13 is out and done, we’ll turn our attention to this. However, we can’t promise this is going to happen. If does happen it will not have separate hit boxes.
