The Zelda-inspired action adventure series that is Darksiders will be receiving a sequel this August. Up until now, we’ve been graced with snippets of gameplay interlaced with cutscenes and/or developer commentary, but in this latest trailer for Darksiders 2, THQ lets the gameplay speak for itself.
While the game is hardly jaw-dropping from a technical standpoint, the gorgeously crafted visuals that take a more artistic approach definitely help in making it stand out from the pack. Check out the “Death Comes for All” trailer below.

Darksiders 2 is set to launch on August 14th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
