Rev3 recently had a chance to speak with Sony Santa Monica’s lead game designer Seth Killian about the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster additions: Kat and Emmett Graves from Gravity Rush, and Starhawk, respectively.
The actual interview is fine, and about as informative as you’d expect. But the real draw here is a glimpse at the first ever gameplay footage of Kat and Emmett in PlayStation All-Stars which casually plays in the background at certain points while the interview is taking place.
Several supers are shown; yet the more interesting aspect is arguably just how unique these two contenders control. Kat appears to be able to float fairly freely throughout a stage, whereas Emmett’s gameplay resembles a curious mix of Toro, Ratchet, and Radec.
