Update: Sony has said that the maintenance period is now extended and runs from 5AM – 9PM PST.
Original Story: Another day, another post about the PlayStation Network going down for maintenance. This one takes place on Monday, March 4th for an 11 hour period from 8AM to 7PM PST (11AM to 10PM EST/16:00GMT on March 4th to 03:00GMT on March 5th).
As always, they claim that if you’ve signed into your account at least a few days prior to Monday, online play and apps will remain playable during the maintenance (although that doesn’t always work), but the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management will definitely be unavailable. So, to avoid any interruptions during online multiplayer on Monday, make sure you sign into the PSN at some point this weekend.
