Slightly narrowing down that spring release date for Hotline Miami, the game’s Twitter account replied to a user by saying that the PlayStation Vita (and PlayStation 3) version of the game is going to be out “probably end of May.”
Also on Twitter, they addressed a report that said Hotline Miami would have co-op and multiplayer, by saying that “contrary to reports from some media, there is no co-op or multiplayer planned for Hotline Miami.” All hope isn’t lost though for co-op though, as they gave you a workaround on how to do it:
If you want to play Hotline Miami’s co-op mode just have a friend punch you in the throat each time you die.
So, if all goes according to plan, expect to be playing Hotline Miami by the end of May, probably for $9.99, with Cross Buy allowing you to get both the PS3 and Vita versions for one price.
