In past Arkham games, Kevin Conroy has taken on the role of Batman, who he has also portrayed in other areas, such as the animated series. While he is certainly good at what he does, a report from South African gaming mag NAG (according to Kotaku) says that he will not be the voice of Batman in the upcoming Arkham Origins.
According to the report, the developers at WB Montreal want “to use a new younger actor because the game features Batman in his early years”. Now to a certain extent this makes sense. The Batman being featured in Origins will be younger than in the previous two games so it makes sense to want a younger voice actor although it will certainly be a challenge to live up to Conroy’s past performances.
Since there are no reports on who could be the new voice of Batman, let us know in the comments who you would want to get the job.
