Rockstar promised that we’d be hearing more about “classic Rockstar titles coming for download to PSN in the weeks and months ahead,” and it looks like the ESRB has provided some information about what two of those games are.
Today, they rated Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2 for the PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and PSP, meaning that they’ll be released as PS1 Classics. Since Rockstar has yet to confirm that these are showing up on the PSN yet, we’ll just have to wait for them to officially announce them.
If these two GTA games do head to the PSN though, it would mean that (almost) every single game in the series would be available digitally on PlayStation platforms.
