Even after receiving confirmation that the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster would include the International versions when the HD collection finally arrives on the PlayStation 3 (and separately on the PlayStation Vita), there were still some rumblings that it might not happen, or it might be DLC.
Seemingly laying all those questions to rest is a new description for the PS3 version of the game from Best Buy Canada:
Contains content not previously released in North America, including the optional superboss “Penance,” the “Eternal Calm” video that bridges the gap between the two titles, the “Last Mission” dungeon with 20+ hours of battle and story, and bonus dresspheres and garment grids.
And a trio of bullet points from Future Shop:
- Features new content from international versions of Final Fantasy previously unavailable in North America
- Bonus Dress Spheres and Garment Grids available
- Last Mission dungeon levels let you see more story narrative
Since the Best Buy Canada listing fails to mention the Creature Create Mode and a bunch of smaller changes, we’ve contacted Square Enix for a complete list of all the International content found inside the HD Remaster and we’ll let you know if we hear anything back.
How excited are you to play (or replay) Final Fantasy X and X-2 this year? Have you played either International Edition before? Let us know in the comments below.
