Sony: “There Are Plenty More Reveals Coming” for the PlayStation Vita

Last week, Fred Dutton, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s (SCEE) Blog Manager, teased that we’d see some “intriguing game announcements,” which turned out to be Wolfenstein: The New Order, Hohokum, Doki-Doki Universe, and CounterSpy. This week, there’s pretty good odds that we’ll see Gran Turismo 6 (or, for no reason, a Gran Turismo HD Collection) at the Gran Turismo 15th Anniversary event, but Fred recently gave the PlayStation Vita some attention.

Over on the PS Blog, he replied to a comment asking if there were any new PS Vita games on the horizon with, “Absolutely. We announced three new titles last week (see above), and there are plenty more reveals coming.” With E3 now under a month away, Shahid Ahmad mentioning a big Vita title, and Sony previously having promised over 100 titles this year, it looks like Sony is gearing up to give their handheld a very good E3.

Fred then talked about a few more pieces of information, which we’ve placed below:

  • No plans at present for a ModNation Racers DLC pack sale on the EU PSN
  • No plans at present to bring the comic store that was on PSP to the PS Vita
  • No plans for Injustice: Gods Among Us to join the Instant Game Collection because “it only came out a few weeks ago!”
  • They’ll hopefully have an announcement regarding Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force (Full Frontal Assault) this week, but no promises
  • Terraria is “definitely” coming out in Australia on Wednesday
