The mystery of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on PS4 may be solved rather quickly, as Square Enix sent out this response (via IGN) when questioned further about the Amazon Italy listing:
It’s so hard to keep a secret these days! We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don’t have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December.
With VGX (check out the award nominees here) taking place on December 7th, it seems as though we can expect to see Lara Croft making an appearance in some form or another.
However, a Tomb Raider PS4 announcement wouldn’t be the only world premiere at VGX, with Geoff Keighley saying:
Lots of rumors starting to float around about VGX world premieres. Won’t be long until we start sharing some details on what to expect.
