Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on PS4 is Native 1080p, DualShock 4’s Light Bar Lights up When Using the Torch

Expanding upon the original Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition announcement at VGX, Square Enix has confirmed that the game will cost $59.99 and release on January 28th, 2014 in North America and January 31st, 2014 in Europe.

The game’s Tumblr page revealed even more details, including that it will be native 1080p and comes with the following:

  • The fully rebuilt game for next-generation consoles
  • The Tomb of the Lost Adventurer
  • Eight DLC multiplayer maps
  • Six DLC multiplayer weapons
  • Four DLC multiplayer characters
  • Six outfits for Lara
  • Dark Horse digital comic book “Tomb Raider: The Beginning”
  • Brady Games digital art book “Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival”
  • The Final Hours of Tomb Raider” documentary series

For some exclusive content, the Xbox One version uses Kinect, while the PlayStation 4 version will use the DualShock 4’s to light up red and orange when using the torch, and quick flashes when Lara is shooting. PS Vita Remote Play was also confirmed for PS4.
