Following the success of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, we all knew that another Assassin’s Creed game out next year was more than likely. However, according to claims by Examiner, Ubisoft could be planning on releasing two Assassin’s Creed titles in 2014.
Reportedly, one title will be exclusive to current gen consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) while the other will be geared towards the owners of what are now last generation consoles (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360). Examiner also stated that their source told them the series as a whole was “under a massive re-scope”, however this is an unverified rumor, so take it with a grain of salt until we hear anything official as always.
What are your thoughts on two potential console Assassin’s Creed games next year and how would you “re-scope” the series if you were Ubisoft? Let us know in the comments.
