  • When asked how the development of Minecraft on PS4/Xbox One is going, 4J Studios said, “Fine! Working with Sony/Microsoft on world size – not “infinite” due to save size limits, but a lot bigger than PS3/Xbox 360.” They then added that Title Update 16 will help to fix some discovered bugs, and the DualShock 4’s touch pad will help you navigate the Creative UI.   • There’s been some rumors circulating that the next Mass Effect title would be called Mass Effect: Contact. Putting those rumors to rest, BioWare Montreal Studio Director Yanick Roy said, “[With regards to] name speculations: the next Mass Effect doesn’t have a name yet, just a working title that we have used since day 1 of the project.” [Twitter]

  • Killzone: Shadow Fall is set to receive the free ‘Canyon’ multiplayer map on May 13th in North America and May 14th in Europe. [Watch The Vine Video]

  • While Borderlands 2 may already be out in the PS Vita 2000 bundle, the Cross Save functionality with the PS3 version isn’t out yet, with Gearbox saying, “A patch will be coming out shortly for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.” Since the widespread release of Borderlands 2 is happening next week, we imagine the update will arrive soon.   • Untold Games has announced that their upcoming game, Loading Human (back it on Kickstarter), has switched from Unity to Unreal Engine 4 and Sony has approved it for development on PS4, complete with Project Morpheus support:
