The Division E3 trailer that has just been released by Ubisoft is a quick reminder that you need to watch the publisher’s E3 conference to see more of the game in action. The teaser is really just that — a teaser, and even that might be stretching it. What we do see is how the in-game day and night system works, which, if really is in-game, might be something special. Seeing as Ubisoft has pushed the game’s release back to an unspecified date in 2015, this might be one of the reasons why.
Set as a third-person shooter-RPG hybrid mixed in with MMO elements, The Division certainly is one of Ubisoft’s most ambitious games to date. However, given the scope of the game, a source allegedly within Ubisoft Massive has claimed that The Division’s 2015 release window is a “tad bit optimistic.”
