Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter. These are characters that a lot of us have been dying to see revived. Although we were told that there was no chance of us seeing Spyro or Crash Bandicoot in the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, the good news is that Sony hasn’t buried them yet.
In an interview with The Telegraph, CEO Andrew House said that the revival of these popular characters is something that the company has been “thinking about and discussing.” Given the example of Nintendo’s recycling of its classic characters, House was asked if it was something we could expect anytime soon. In response, he said:
We’ve started to say that maybe there isn’t anything wrong with going back and looking at characters that people still talk about, that were a big part of either their childhood or their youth. I definitely wouldn’t close the door on that.
